Raidiant - Because In The Game, We're All The Same
This one is for the baddies, the game changers, the trailblazers.
Raidiant.gg was born out of an inherant need to normalize the gender differences in esports and gaming. While 45% of gamers identify as women, less than 1% of women play professional esports. The level of toxicity in comments and chat both in-game and on social media is wide-spread, the norm, and it’s disgusting.
I was given an opportunity to launch this platform along with some incredibly talented women - Heather Garozzo, a 5x World Champion esports player, member of 2 Esports Halls of Fame - and Meredith Weber, a brilliant content producer and social media mind.
With Heather and Mer, we’ve blossomed Raidiant into an industry leading tournament organizer for women’s esports, bolstered our social presence to become the 2nd most followed platform for women gamers, and partnered with purpose-driven brands like HyperX and NYX Cosmetics to make meaningful change in the ecosystem.
Raidiant has a “designed to be deleted” mentality — I personally can’t wait for this platform to be eradicated along with the sexism that is so prevalent in the industry today.
